The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, MedicalCollege of Virginia Campus is currently seeking applicants for a faculty position inthe Section of Cardiothoracic Imaging.This section is an active, well-established clinical and academic serviceresponsible for all aspects of cardiothoracic imaging including conventional chestradiography, chest CT, HRCT, CTA, lung cancer screening, interventionalthoracic procedures, and cardiac CTA and cardiovascular MR in an 822 bedLevel 1 Trauma Center. The applicant would join five other cardiothoracicradiologists.

Special interest or skill in thoracic acute care imaging, trauma, oncology,cardiology, transplantation, mechanical ventricular assist devices, and infectiousand occupational lung diseases is preferred. Established professionalrelationships with cardiothoracic surgery and pulmonary critical care medicinefoster interdisciplinary research between departments.

ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABRBoard examination, cardiothoracic imaging fellowship training and an interest inteaching and research are required. The applicant must demonstrate experienceworking in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment orcommitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Candidate must be eligiblefor a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA.Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
