The Department of neurosurgery at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon. Position is for a collateral faculty appointment at academic level commensurate with experience. Successful candidates will be fellowship trained with a focus in reconstructive and complex spinal surgery. Position expectations include teaching and research leadership and participation in multi-disciplinary clinical endeavors. Successful candidates must hold/obtain a valid license to practice medicine in the state of Virginia and must show demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
