Responsibilities:

The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia Campus is currently seeking applicants for a faculty position in the section of Breast Imaging.

We offer two state-of-the-art breast imaging centers; one at the medical center campus and the second at our outpatient center. Both centers provide comprehensive breast imaging services which include screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D), sonography, MR, stereotactic and US-guided biopsy, and wire localizations. Busy clinical responsibilities are complemented by excellent teaching and research opportunities in mammography, Breast MR, PET, and Molecular Imaging.

VCU Breast Imaging is part of a highly-focused and dedicated interdisciplinary team at the NCI designated VCU Massey Cancer Center that includes pathologists, surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists, as well as plastic surgeons, nurses, and geneticists that have specialized training in breast cancer and a commitment to timely patient care.

Qualifications:

ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination, breast imaging fellowship training, and an interest in teaching and research are required. The applicant must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
