Virginia Commonwealth University Health System is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist. The successful candidate will join an established group of physicians and surgeons in one of the top Heart Centers in the United States. We are dedicated to building a preeminent program for academic discovery and are committed to excellent clinical care for our patients.

Candidates for this position should demonstrate skills in the areas of Coronary Artery Disease, peripheral arterial disease; be clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in teaching and Fellowship programs.
Preferred candidates should have the ability and credentials to perform procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Interventional Program. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience with expertise in treating complex coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease.

Candidates should exhibit demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in State of Virginia.
