Physician Scientist - Hepatology Faculty

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at the Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a Physician Scientist.

Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in GI and Hepatology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

--Providing clinical services in the Hepatology clinics at VCU Health System, to include both clinics on the Medical College of Virginia Hospital campus and in Hepatology outreach locations.

-- Providing teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with liver conditions, with specific expertise in the diagnosis and management of chronic liver disorders.

--Required to have Basic Science and/or Clinical Research experience and dedication to pursue a Physician Scientist track.

Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required.
