The Division of General Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is seeking a full-time board-certified Internist to provide primary general internal medicine care in the context of a multidisciplinary program in the Division of General Internal Medicine. This position will be the inaugural physician provider and leader of a team-based community care model and have significant opportunity to help shape the development and trajectory of this primary care model at VCU.

The candidate must qualify for an appointment at the Clinical Professor level. She/he must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time as a major provider in the outpatient clinic area.
