The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia is currently seeking applicants for one full-time faculty position. The applicant must have experience in all facets of Radiology including radiography, CT, US, & MR.

The section is an active clinical and academic service responsible for all aspects of Radiology. VCU Medical Center is the region's comprehensive Level I trauma center verified in adult, pediatric and burn trauma care. We are one of only two adult Level I trauma centers in Virginia verified by the American College of Surgeons.

Imaging equipment includes two CT scanners (one Siemens Definition Flash, one Siemens AS+), five state-of-the-art MRI units (3) 3T, (2) 1.5T, multiple point of care sonography units, and five digital radiography units. In-house technologists are available 24/7 for the performance of examinations on all modalities (3) adult diagnostic rooms, (1) peds diagnostic room and (2) portable machines.

ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination. An interest in teaching is required. Applicants must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Candidates must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
