The VCU Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a BC/BE family physician to join a new clinical site in the Waterside Commons in Prince George, VA.

This position will come with a competitive salary and generous benefit package as well as the ability to earn clinical bonuses. We are seeking a Full-Time clinician that will be involved in medical student teaching and could be involved in Departmental Research Programs. Full scope family medicine. No inpatient work is required.

  • 5-day work week (includes clinical administrative time for chronic disease management and responding to patient messaging), call is phone only *
  • Support at VCU Medical Center including 24/7 hospitalist service, laboratory, imaging, and specialty consult services
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes annual CME/professional development funds; license, professional membership, and DEA paid by department; relocation, vacation, sick days, holidays
  • Eligible for clinical faculty appointment in the VCU Department of Family Medicine and Population Health
  • Epic EMR
  • Provide the highest quality of outpatient primary care services to new and established patients in the community.
  • Serve on hospital or departmental committees when appropriate

Required Qualifications:

  • - Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine - Eligible for full staff privileges at VCU Health System- Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia- Demonstrated experience working in, collaborating and fostering a diverse staff, residents and students through an engaged and emotionally safe approach
